After blocking the liquid inlet of the main body (cylinder Housing) with the finger of the other hand, release the button to let it rebound naturally, and the skin on the surface of the finger will feel sucked (commonly known as "suction"). You can even hang the lotion pump upside down on your finger. This is one of the main ways for the manufacturer to confirm whether the pump out function is intact. With the increased accuracy of pressure electronic sensing valves, this "suction" can also be detected using fully automatic equipment.

The pumping function of the lotion pump is generally reflected by the two parameters of the number of presses and the pumping volume.

The pumped volume refers to the volume of the pumped liquid every time the consumer uses the lotion pump. When the lotion pump is filled with liquid, the volume of liquid pumped by pressing the head to the end point of the stroke (stroke is H), the pumped volume V=πD2*H/4. Because the pumping volume of the lotion pump is relatively small, it is often used as a detection process for 10 consecutive times, and the average number is taken. Some companies use grams (g) as the unit, there are two factors: 1) water is used as the medium in the test; 2) the fluidity of the material liquid is not good, and the measuring cylinder cannot be read. If the feed liquid is used as the medium, the density of the feed liquid also needs to be considered when setting the pump output standard.

The number of presses refers to the total number of presses by the consumer from the moment the consumer opens the press to the first discharge of the liquid. In theory, it refers to the value obtained by dividing the space volume from the nozzle of the press head to the end of the suction pipe by the rated pump output after the lotion pump is fully turned on. The manufacturer will increase the insurance factor of 1.1~1.3 when setting. The main influencing factors are the thickness and length of the straw, as well as the cumulative tolerance of the parts of the lotion pump.
